Questions

Does freo.cloud work with Windsurf?

Yes. Paste one setup prompt into Windsurf and it installs a small publishing skill — an instruction file, nothing that runs in the background. It works on macOS, Linux and Windows. Windsurf can also connect over freo's MCP server instead.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. You set it up once, then talk to Windsurf in plain language — “publish this,” “share it with Sam.” It does the upload and hands you the link.

What gets installed?

One instruction file (the skill) and a publishing key saved on your machine — Windsurf sets up both from the prompt. No app, no build step, nothing to keep running.

Can Windsurf read my other documents or my account?

It can't touch your account. The key reaches only your freo.cloud documents: it can list, read, create, update, re-share and remove them, but it can't change your account settings, sign in as you, or see anyone else's space. It expires, and you can revoke it any time.

Is it free?

Yes — freo.cloud is free during early access.
